Ingredients: Organic Vitex, Vegetable Glycerin, Distilled Water

Chaste tree berries, also called chasteberry or Vitex (Vitex agnus-castus), are traditionally used mainly for women’s reproductive and menstrual health.

Potential benefits include:

* PMS support: may help breast tenderness, irritability, mood changes, headaches, and bloating associated with premenstrual syndrome.

* Menstrual-cycle support: may help some women with irregular cycles, particularly when cycle problems are related to prolactin regulation.

* Breast tenderness: evidence suggests chasteberry may reduce cyclic breast pain associated with PMS.

* Hormonal signaling: chasteberry appears to act partly through dopamine pathways and may lower elevated prolactin in some circumstances. It does not simply “increase progesterone” or “balance all hormones.”

* Menopause: it is sometimes included in herbal preparations for menopausal symptoms, but the evidence for chasteberry alone is limited.

Important: Chasteberry can interact with hormonal medicines, birth-control pills, fertility treatments, antipsychotic medicines, and drugs that affect dopamine. It generally should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical guidance. People with hormone-sensitive conditions should also discuss it with their healthcare professional.

If you’re considering it for a specific purpose—such as PMS, irregular periods, fertility, fibroids, or menopause—the benefits and cautions are different.
